I submitted the unfinished version of this a few weeks ago, so I thought I’d submit the finished product! It’s pretty much all healed :) Done by Daniele Tonelli at The Family Business - London.

hear my beaten heart exclaim: One teachers approach to preventing gender bullying in a classroom
Alie arrived at our 1st-grade classroom wearing a sweatshirt with a hood. I asked her to take off her hood, and she refused. I thought she was just being difficult and ignored it….

Here’s my chrysanthemum flower tattoo. A chrysanthemum flower means perfection and hope for the future in many cultures.
As a kid my parent’s used to read me the book Chrysanthemum about a mouse who hated her name, Chrysanthemum, and was taunted by the other children because of it. In the end she realized that her name was absolutely perfect and learned to love herself. I got this for my 18th birthday to signify that even though I’ve thought down about myself in my past I am “absolutely perfect” on the inside and theres always a bright spot in my future.
Done by Henri Diaz at Seven Gates Tattoo in Vernon, NJ. He was an absolutely amazing artist.
